English actor, Corin Stuart, was born in London to prominent English teacher, poet and author Simon Stuart and Deborah (nee Mounsey). He has two brothers, Thomas and the renowned environmental campaigner Tristram Stuart. They spent their youth between London and Ashdown Forest in Sussex, until Tristram and Corin were sent to boarding school in Sussex owing to their father's ill health. Corin acted on stage throughout school, but studied at University College London where he gained a BSc in Biology. After trying his hand at primary school teaching he went on to landscape gardening and tree surgery, briefly working as a teacher for the charity "Trees for Cities", and training young children to cycle on the roads of London with Cycle Training UK. When his father died in 2002 he moved to Sussex to take up the management of the family farm, where he joined the local community drama groups. Here he found his true calling and moved back to London to train as an actor at the Drama Studio, London, graduating in 2010. He has worked in many theatrical productions in London and worked opposite George Clooney in "The Monuments Men".
