Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Jodi Lynn Thomas graduated with honors from the Las Vegas Academy of Visual and Performing Arts where she majored in Theatre. Following graduation, Thomas attended the University of Northern Colorado where she graduated with a BFA in Theatre Arts. She continued her studies at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in Los Angeles, on going classes at Annie Grindlay Studio, and the Chubbuck Acting Technique. Since graduating, Thomas has worked extensively in film, most notably alongside Tony Goldwyn in "Outlaw Prophet: Warren Jeffs" (2014), Natalie Portman in "Jane's Got A Gun" (2016), as well as with Bella Thorne, Kyra Sedgwick, Aaron Tveit in "Big Sky" (2015), and with recent work alongside Josh Hartnett, Eiza Gonzales, Lucy Fry in "Highway" (2018). In 2014, she booked the lead role in the feature film "The Creep Behind The Camera" (2014) which was an Official Selection at Screamfest Horror Film Festival (2014), Fantasia (2014), Sci-Fi London (2014), and Imagine Film Festival (2014) where her performance received an impressive amount of promising and glowing reviews. In 2015, Thomas starred in the short film "Duality" (2015) and also in "Solitary" (2015) which won numerous awards at film festivals, including naming Jodi Lynn Thomas "Best Actress" at the Albuquerque Film and Media Experience, Los Angeles Horror Film Festival, Los Angeles Film Awards, CineRockom International Film Festival, Ouchy Film Awards, NYC Indie Film Awards, and the Digitalmation Awards.
