Some of the greatest actors in the world are the ones who enter the acting field with a story to tell. In actress, producer, and casting director LaTeace Towns-Cuellar's case, she draws from her experience growing up in her native Queens, New York and from being an astute business woman. You might recognize the former model turned actress in the Quentin Tarantino's film, Django Unchained, as Cleo, Leonardo Dicaprio's character's half-sister. She was also the lead in the 2001 film, Be My Teacher, a story that tackles the very taboo subject matter that is student-teacher romance. Her incessant hunger for acting landed her a role within a month of pursuing her passion. This wasn't just pure luck; it was all the facets of her life and human experience perfectly colliding with that of the acting world. LaTeace initially trained under Jeff Goldblum at the Playhouse West in Log Angeles and since continued to hone her craft. Through the production company, Four Triad Productions, which she co-owns, she is able to create and oversee a myriad of projects as the casting director and executive producer. She believes in giving back, working as a personal acting coach, helping other aspiring actors to reach their potential. While LaTeace is running her acting career, she is also helping her husband, Fred Cuellar, run their company, Diamond Cutters International. The company has a roster of heavyweight clients like President Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey, and the Broncos to name a few - IMDb Mini Biography By: Joni Neveu
