Jamie Hope is an author, screenwriter, travel producer, actor, and national contributor. Jamie was born in Saint Johns, Michigan in 1976 to David and Rosemary Hambleton. She was raised in Lansing, Michigan with her brother, Matthew. Upon graduation from J.W. Sexton High School, Jamie attended Michigan State University where she earned a B.A. in Business Administration. While attending college, Jamie met and married her husband, Jody, and had three children, James (17 years old), Mary (deceased), and Grace (12 years old.) Jamie is former chief of staff for a legislator in the Michigan House of Representatives where she assisted the Chair of the Department of Human Services Committee in the day-to --day functions and vetting policy initiatives. After leaving the House, she took time off to raise her children, and became a national contributor, writing for top online magazine publications. In 2013 she released her first novel, Illusion, and shortly after began her screenwriting career. Jamie has written several screenplays that are under major consider and one, Echo Chambers, in pre-production. She acted for the first time in Faith Under Fire (2019) featuring Dean Cain as Pastor Dan Underwood and Kevin Sorbo as a doctor, and also was a production assistant. She has been a guest on numerous radio and television engagements discussing film and entertainment.
